Alexandra Scalise

Alexandra Scalise is a sophomore at Washington and Jefferson college where she studies Spanish, German, and International studies. She enjoys learning different languages and working with people every day. She is a member of the kappa kappa gamma sorority and Alpha Lambda Delta national honor society. As a first generation college student, she has many goals of traveling the world and fulfilling her dreams of being trilingual.

Destinee Truluck

Destinee is a recipient of the  Vira Heinz for Women in Global Leadership Scholarship, Destinee studied abroad in Guayaquil,Ecuador  for a total of nine weeks. During her time in Ecuador Destinee used the opportunity to take on two courses and an internship, where she was able to delve into the Ecuadorian culture and better prepare herself for her future career. Destinee had an internship at a Public relations department, she was able to write press releases, design layouts, organize events, and put together employee trainings.

Mariah Butchko

Mariah is a kind and hardworking individual. She is willing to help others whenever she can and enjoys making others happy. Mariah loves any outdoor activity such as hiking, running, skiing, swimming, and so much more. She is very optimistic and grew up within a military family. She is very involved with her community on campus. Aside from the clubs and extracurricular activities she is also an athlete. She aspires to graduate with a teaching certificate in Early Chidhood and Special Education and eventually spend some time teaching in a community of need.

Jennifer Shelley

Jennifer Shelley is a 2016 graduate of Thiel College. She earned a Bacherlor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. She is pursuing a teaching career and enjoys helping students in need. She plans to teach in a diverse and multicaultural area in her future. Jennifer is motivated and sets goals to achieve in both academics and athletics. She earned the Dean's Key at Thiel College by earning Dean's List Honors every semester. She also graduated with Summa Cum Laude Honors and Alpha Chi Honors.
