Fundamentals of Leadership Badges
Learning outcomes for the VIH program are grounded in the Five Fundamentals of Leadership. The focus is to discuss and understand these fundamentals from a woman's point of view. To highlight milestones of the program that assist in the development of these principles, participants earn these badges on their profiles at the completion of milestones.
ACCOUNTABILITY BADGE
Accountability is defined as being responsible to someone or for some action. Students who submit their Agreement Letters receive the Accountability Badge.

INTEGRITY BADGE
Adherence to moral and ethical principles is an aspect of integrity. Students who RSVP for the Spring Retreat receive the Integrity Badge.

SELF-KNOWLEDGE BADGE
Self-knowledge stems from understanding one's own needs, motives, capabilities, and character. Students who complete their Experience Report receive the Self-Knowledge Badge.

GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE BADGE
Global perspective involves developing a comprehensive, critical view of experiences and knowledge while seeking to further our understanding of ourselves, others, the world, and the relationships between these elements. Students who complete their CEE and submit their CEE Report receive the Global Perspective Badge.

VALUING OTHERS BADGE
Understanding the value of others who are both similar and dissimilar from oneself is an important aspect of leadership and personal development. Students who choose to act as a mentor for a member of subsequent cohorts after their graduation from the VIH program receive the Valuing Others Badge.
