Finances

In determining how to fund their international experience, students should research financial aid eligibility, scholarship eligibility, and personal funding. Moreover, students should take into consideration the number of credits as well as the amenities included in a given study abroad program. The resources below will help students compare the prices and academic offerings of different programs.

An important part of study abroad planning is deciding how you will pay for day-to-day travel expenses.  Many students choose a combination of two or three travel money options.   Before you decide which one will work best for you, call your bank and ask about transaction fees and currency conversion charges. These extra fees can work out to be rather expensive.
